AZOO Fe Test - Iron Test Kit
For aquatic plant, reef aquariums and ponds
Aquatic plants require reduced iron and oxidized iron to complete metabolism.
Iron ions fluctuate depending upon the Ph level. In an acidic environment,
reduced iron is easily lost from the system.
When iron ions are combined with organic chelates, the stability of the iron
ion dramatically increases during in alkaline environments.
In aquarium systems, chelated iron (chelate ferrie) is generally added to
increase the availability of iron ions for plnts.
Each kit includes a sample vial, color comparison chart, spoon and
reagents for 40 tests.
ANALYSIS:
1. Water plants will utilize all soluble reduced iron and oxidazed iron.
In aquariums, we usually add chelate ferrie to increase the utility of
iron ion for aquatic plants. Therefore, ferrie level should be tested
by the level of chelate ferrie.
2. In a aquatic plant aquarium, the level of chelate ferrie
should be maintained between 0.05~0.1 mg/l.
